The nickname for the matchup between the Wildcats and Cyclones this weekend in Kansas City is fucking embarrassing. How embarrassing? Embarrassing like back in '77 when you got caught fucking your cousin.

That's fucking intimidation.

So I pretty much dominated this week, at least in my eyes, by a score of 4-3 with one push thanks to Case Fucking Keenum. That's actually his middle name. Anyway, this brings the total score to 17-12 in favor of the bad guys. I really don't want to get slapped.

Week 3 Results: FML

God, that's painful to watch again. Trailing 4-10 heading into this week I had some serious ground to make up. I didn't do it, but I didn't fall any further behind either, as we tied 4-4 on our picks this week.

What did we learn this week? Virginia Tech and Boston College have two of the worst offenses in college football, and
I should stop picking Oregon's games because I can't do it right. Surprise of the week? An 0-12 team from last year takes down USC. Go Huskies!

Week 2 Results

Chris is nothing if not consistent as he picked up another five points this week. I failed to make up any ground, losing both points that were up for grabs. I have to make up six games the rest of the season or I'm gonna need to buy a mouthpiece.

I threw the Houston/Oklahoma State game into the mix because I KNEW Chris would take the Cowboys, and I knew Houston would score a ton of points. I didn't expect them to win, but I'd kick the shit out of myself if I could right now for not picking them to cover. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I also was extremely tempted to take Ohio State to cover. But after last week's game against Navy, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I could just see my brother laughing at me after USC won by thirty. Effin' A, Cot.

Chris wins week 2 by a score of 5-3, meaning I now trail the slap bet by six games. What did we learn this week? This season might be very similar to the 2007 college football season with lots of movement in the polls and COLORADO STILL SUCKS.

I've got some serious work to do next week.

Week 2 Picks

They say the biggest improvement in a college football team happens between weeks one and two. For my sake, I hope that hold true for picking games as well, because I have a lot of ground to make up.

And so, without further gilding the lily and with no more ado, I give you the seeker of serenity, the protector of Italian virginity, er... the picks for the second week of the college football season slap bet.

There are only two points up for grabs this week:

UCLA (+8) at Tennessee
Bryan - Tennessee
Chris - UCLA

Purdue (+12) at Oregon
Bryan - Oregon
Chris - Purdue

We agreed on the eight remaining games:

Clemson (+5) at Georgia Tech
